Just a quick note to thank you for your help and guidance on the timesheets.
I reckon I am using them reasonably effectively now, making a point of planning 15 minutes at the beginning of each day, keeping a record of time estimated and time actually used, and then reflecting on the days work at end of day. I reckon I need to improve on prioritisation, to set the priorities for the day and then follow the plan. I have learnt a lot, to leave 3 hours free in every day, to set out to do what is possible in a day, and then to be happy if I complete what I set out to complete. And the little expressions are great ways to "lift" the spirit. I will take on the task of self-discipline from here. I reckon I have to make these changes work.
I will drop in to pick up a batch of major task sheets when I am next on the Coast, as I seem to have run out. I guess that means I am keeping the list!
Thanks again, for the interest in helping us succeed and personally for helping me be a better manager!
